Experience & Areas of Focus

David has over 30 years experience in accounting and income taxes for small and large size businesses. His focus is to advise clients on income tax planning, accounting, management consulting services and financial matters. David's practice includes clients in real estate, retail and manufacturing industries, as well as individuals in various professions.

David's experience encompasses all forms of financial reporting services. He has focused the majority of his time working with professionals utilizing his industry knowledge in real estate, manufacturing, law firms and medical professionals.

David specializes in providing tax compliance, planning and consulting services to high net-worth individuals and closely-held businesses (S Corporations, Partnerships and LLC's). David and his family live in Westlake Village and is active in various local non-profit groups.

Education & Affiliation

David earned his Bachelors degree at UCLA and his MBA at USC. He spent seven years with Pricewaterhouse before starting his own practice. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

After completing two business degrees at the University of Wisconsin, Ashley started her career in the audit department at PricewaterhouseCoopers. After spending two years there, she showed an interest in working at a mid-size firm and in a tax department. She moved onto Holthouse, Carlin, & Van Trigt, and spent the next two years in their tax department. Ashley took the skills she learned from both prestigious firms, and she joined Blankstein & Company to focus on tax preparation that meets the highest standards. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accounts.

With over 35 years of accounting experience, Lisa leads our small business bookkeeping and payroll services department. She is an expert in QuickBooks, payroll processing, sales tax and small business compliance matters.
